Not everyone has a laptop and an Ethernet cable at home, but if you do, you can connect the laptop directly to the router to see if the problem is with your internet as a whole (see above) or Wi-Fi in particular. There are several ways to improve Wi-Fi in your home , but they usually have nothing to do with a sudden and unexplained drop.
If your Wi-Fi was working, but it is no longer (and the problem persists on multiple devices), it is difficult to identify the problem. You should check your router's settings for clues, reverse any recent changes to the network, and make sure that no one in the house has changed the network password.

Whether the wired internet connections are working, but the Wi-Fi connections aren't on any device, is a mystery - unless your router has broken or malfunctioned. If you have decided to place a wireless device , such as a baby monitor, or a microwave next to your router, this could be a potential cause - you really need to place devices like these as far apart as possible to avoid signal interference.
The intensive use of bandwidth by a specific device can slow down your internet connection, but you will probably also see this on a wired connection. Using a speed test website or app can provide you with a few more tips on what’s causing Wi-Fi to slow or drop completely.
